A Visit To The Santa Barbara Farmers Market

After my business obligations in Salt Lake City and San Francisco, I traveled to beautiful Santa Barbara, California to attend the wedding of the step-son of my publicist, Susan Magrino Dunning.  With some time to kill, I decided to pay a visit to The Santa Barbara Farmers Market, having heard that it's pretty extraordinary.  The Santa Barbara Certified Farmers Market Association is a non-profit mutual benefit corporation, founded in 1983 to provide California farmers with direct access at landmark locations to market their agricultural products directly to the local community.  Open every day from March through November, the market operates in six different locations in Santa Barbara.  The markets serve to strengthen the local community ties and help to provide weekly events at no cost while enhancing the community's quality of life.  It was a wonderful experience!
