The Inaugural Publicis Health Media HealthFront 2019
It’s nice to see today’s health industry entrepreneurs working hard to develop new and innovative products to help solve some of the world’s most pressing health challenges.
Last month, I was invited to be a judge for the PHM HealthFront “Disruption Garage” - a real-time, live-jury review of the nation’s most future-facing ideas in health. The event was part of a two-day HealthFront conference designed to explore the latest in healthcare innovations. Hundreds of guests were in attendance at the Classic Car Club Manhattan. Four finalists presented their product, technology or service solution before the panel of judges and audience members made their votes. It was a very informative and fun competition.
Enjoy these photos.

After all the presentations were complete, the judges collaborated for several minutes before making their final vote. he audience was also able to place LIVE votes, which counted as a fifth additional judge.
We were all so pleased with the finalists – they all presented wonderful and innovative products. It was so hard to decide. In the end, the winner was…

And then later that evening, I went to a lovely dinner with my longtime publicist, Susan Magrino, and Liz Malone, senior publicist for Meredith Corporation. We dined at 701 West in the Times Square area. I had this delicious roasted Hudson Valley foie gras, with apricots and bison grass.
I also enjoyed this sweet potato baked in seaweed bread, mustard butter, and black truffles.
Susan had the cedar baked green asparagus with truffle aioli. She also ordered the broiled Maine lobster.
And Liz started with this broiled live sea scallop with charred fennel butter followed by Norwegian salmon, hockenjos potatoes, morel mushrooms, and sauce vin jaune. We all had a great dinner and a great afternoon at the HealthFront. Please click on the links above to learn more.
