Mid-December at my Farm
Winter is marching towards us at a brisk pace and my farm crew has been working tirelessly in preparation for its ultimate arrival. As I’ve stated in this blog, we are behind schedule in so many areas, due to storms and the new greenhouse construction. I’m really hoping that any new snowfall won’t occur until all of the bushes and shrubs are safely shrouded in their winter burlap covers. And speaking of greenhouses – I feel so fortunate to have these buildings to protect my large tropical plant collection from the harsh elements, but to also be able to grow beautiful and nutritious vegetables all winter long. Enjoy this photo tour of mid-December at my farm.
