My Sister's Guest Blog from Italy
My sister, Laura, who works on this blog, is currently traveling in the Umbria and Tuscany regions of Italy. She would like to share this guest blog of her adventures.
I have been wanting to explore Italy for many years and, finally, that dream is a reality. My husband Randy's childhood friend is based in Rome and has a villa in Umbria, which she generously offers to her family and friends. The time was finally right to take her up on the offer and we are here enjoying this splendor with another couple, who are also good friends. We are exploring the amazing countryside, absorbing history, wine and olive oil tasting, and plenty of good food. As I suspected, Italy is rich in history, tradition, and culture and the short time we have here is merely a teasing sampler.
