A Guest Blog From Vancouver Island
Before completing my trip to Israel with day five, I thought I would give you a break and share a very different part of the world. Lisa Wagner, our SVP Senior Supervising Producer of The Martha Show, offered a guest blog from a fabulous trip she and her husband took this summer. Enjoy!
In late July my husband and I went to Vancouver for vacation. We had always wanted to see the city but had also been told about a very special inn on the Pacific Ocean on the west coast of Vancouver Island, called the Wickinnanish. We flew to Vancouver and early the next morning boarded a ferry at Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal at Horseshoe Bay for the two-hour ride to Nanaimo. The road from Nanaimo, on the east coast of Vancouver Island, across to the west coast and the Pacific Ocean is considered one of the most spectacular in the world. We felt that it was a pretty apt description! This area is beautiful and dramatic and certainly worth a journey!
