This collection, inspired largely by the natural elements I love so much at my Bedford, New York home, offers classic utilitarian pieces with a touch of warm whimsy - perfect for today's casual and busy lifestyles. The pieces include beautifully designed serving platters and bowls, rustic trays and servers, and colorful plates and napkins embellished with fun, earthy motifs.
Here on the counter in my Skylands pantry are two Farmhouse Cabbage Pitchers with fun, crisp green-tones and contemporary leaf-inspired styling – and dishwasher safe. These pitchers go so well with my Farmhouse Green Glass Goblets.
These are my Farmhouse Veggie Napkins. They are perfect for any country-inspired table setting. They’re made of 100-percent cotton and are machine washable.
This is the long counter in my Skylands kitchen. The napkins look so pretty with their colorful vegetable motifs – artichoke, corn, radish and carrot.
I love this whimsical Farmhouse Figural Cow Covered Butter Dish. It measures eight-inches by four-inches by four-inches and is both dishwasher and microwave safe.
Kevin took this photo from above – what a charming table.
If you follow my blog regularly, you may recognize my “Great Wall of China” where I store all my everyday white pieces in my Maine kitchen. These ceramic containers for kitchen tools, oil, salt and sugar from my Farmhouse Collection look like they’ve always been there.
Outside, Kevin photographed the Farmhouse Cabbage Pitcher and goblets with the Farmhouse Cabbage Serving Bowl and my Farmhouse Turnip Platters – they all coordinate so well together. The Farmhouse Wood & Wire Tray is also from my collection.
Here is a closer look at the bowl and platters. What I love about these pieces is that they are both decorative and functional. These turnip platters are oven-safe to 350-degrees Fahrenheit, so you can warm your appetizers and serve.
The colors I choose for all my pieces are always inspired by things I love. My Farmhouse Collection herb dishtowel coordinates perfectly with the green Jadeite dishes and the vintage breadbox.
Other items from my Farmhouse Collection include this artichoke bowl. It is one of a set of three textured nesting bowls in six-inch, five-inch and four-inch diameters.
These are two-quart pots in a garden-fresh tomato shape, and classic black with figural handles. Use them to make your favorite one-pot meals or treat them like oversized bowls. All my enameled cast iron cookware delivers even heating for slow cooking and roasting, and they’re also compatible with all cooktops.
Here is my classic cast iron pot on a charming herbed dishtowel.
These individual covered serving bowls are great for serving warm breakfasts on cool mornings. They are shaped as whimsical sweet peppers fresh from the garden.
Here are the same serving bowls used without the lids – great for soup on a cool autumn day.
I love these white pasta bowls banded in crisp blue – so handsome for any country table.
Here is a photo showing my tray, serving bowls and individual pots all together – everything is made to match. Any piece makes a great hostess gift.
These everyday drinking glasses are versatile and well-sized. Use them indoors and out for all your favorite late summer drinks.
I also offer a new assortment of pasta tools. Make your own spaghetti and fettuccine noodles with this hand-crank pasta maker – it’s so easy to use.
And if you enjoy stuffed pasta, the ravioli mold and rolling pin make perfectly pinched pockets for all your ravioli fillings.
