On Thursday night, I attended a party celebrating our latest book of recipes, Martha Stewart’s New Pies and Tarts. In conjunction with the release of the book, we have created a temporary pop-up shop, for this weekend only, Saturday and Sunday, where you can buy the book, and also mini pies, tartlets, galettes, coffee, tea, and sodas. The bakers behind the book will be there performing cooking demonstrations and there will also be hourly raffles, featuring prizes like a tour of our test kitchen and tickets to my television show! So, come on down to Little Owl – The Venue located at 93 Greenwich Avenue between Bank and 12th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and join the fun.

Oh, how I would LOVE to come by the shop and buy one of those tasty treats! I'm sure they are all fantastic Martha! Unfortunately, California is a jump, skip and a hop away.
Good luck this weekend. I hope you all have a wonderful venue!
The pies and tarts look wonderful! The lattice-topped chicken pot has inspired me to make it dinner this weekend. The store design looks lovely too. I wish I could pop in the pop-up store but I live in Cleveland and NYC is not in the cards this weekend. I did leave a message for my sister, who lives in Manhattan, to stop by if she can. I am sure it will be smashing success.

I love the pie tin arrangement on the wall -- so simple and lovely!
I love the book bought it on Friday! The display was beautiful. But when I got there they had no pies to sell, and they told me there may not be any on Sunday. I wished that there was something that said there was limited supply.
But Congrats on the book!

I stopped in yesterday around 1pm and got the coconut cream pie, vegetable tart and spinach-feta turnover. I was bummed that all the fruit pies were gone already so I might go back b/c I was dying to try the rhubarb!!! I have to say, the coco cream pie blew my mind and I've been contemplating going back for a 2nd. I posted pics and write up on my blog. Thanks for a fun experience!
