As many of you know, my calendar keeps me very busy and on the go - nearly every week is filled with important meetings, media events and business travel.
It's been a busy week, and there's still so much to do. Enjoy these photos.
The event was held at New York City’s popular Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, designed by architect James Ingo Freed of Pei Cobb Freed & Partners. It’s been about 15-years since Vin Expo was last hosted in New York. It’s an exciting event to attend. (Photo by Brandon Bibbins of DRINKS)
The Javitz Center has a total area space of nearly two-million square feet including 840-thousand square feet of total exhibition space. Although it is only the 12th largest convention center in the US, it is among the busiest. (Photo by Brandon Bibbins of DRINKS)
I attended VinExpo with Zac Brandenberg, co-founder and CEO of DRINKS, and our own Thomas Joseph, director of food development. (Photo by Brandon Bibbins of DRINKS)
The two-day event featured 500-exhibitors from 23-countries. (Photo by Brandon Bibbins of DRINKS)
Here are the Marquis de Bacalon wines, which are part of the Martha Stewart Wine Co. portfolio. (Photo by Brandon Bibbins of DRINKS)

I tasted the new vintage of Marquis de Bacalon. This sauvignon blanc was among my favorites at the event.
Here I am with Russell Burgess and Laura Gordon of Vicente Gandia – makers of El Miracle, which is also part of my wine collection.
Many of the wines were displayed in interesting packaging. These are called “Ice Bags” and can hold a bottle of wine “on ice”.
This is a Japanese wine – it is very tasty. Koshu is one of the most visually appealing grape varieties, and its rose-colored berries have been grown in Japan for more than 1000-years in the Yamanashi Prefecture at the base of Mount Fuji.
There were many wines to see and taste. Attendees learned about the patterns of wine consumption and production, the effects of climate change, the purchasing power of millennials, and the rise of e-commerce.
Here is something new – Sandara Chardonnay and Sake.
This is Antoine Fanjat of Bernard Magrez wines of France, makers of Villa Ruby, La Référence, Coup de Rosé and other wines also available through Martha Stewart Wine co. (Photo by Brandon Bibbins of DRINKS)

I stopped for this quick photo with Eduardo Aguirre Victoria, Olivia Condemine and Alexis Fourault of Producta Vignobles wines of Bordeaux, France – makers of La Cabane Aux Oiseaux Bordeaux. (Photo by Brandon Bibbins of DRINKS)
Here is Gaetano Peragine of Straitalian Winemakers of Italy who brought many wines, such as Abbazia wines, Villa Amoroso wines, and others. (Photo by Brandon Bibbins of DRINKS)
Stephane Rouveyrol of VIP Wines in France – makers of Château d’Arche wines shows three-liter double magnum of 2005 Château d’Arche Grand Cru Classe Sauternes. He surprised me with this gift bottle. (Photo by Brandon Bibbins of DRINKS)
Here is a closer look at the label, personally signed. It was such a lovely gift.

And here I am joined by Thomas, Kristin Rozum from DRINKS, Zac, and Tyson Koster from DRINKS. It was a very enjoyable visit, and because the event did so well, it is scheduled to be hosted in New York again next year, so mark your calendars!
That evening, I appeared at a taping of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Here I am with The Late Show band leader, Jon Batiste, and drummer, Joe Saylor.
And you must know who this is. I was on the show the same night as Chelsea Clinton. It was very nice to see her – we had a great time talking back stage.
For my segment, Stephen and I made two flower arrangements – I selected the flowers early in the morning down at the flower market. This arrangement is mine with pink and coral colored ranunculus, amaranthus, spirea, green pompoms, geranium leaves, alliums, and coral and pink tulips.
Stephen’s arrangement included hairy balls, pussy willows, allium buds, crespida, golden wattle, and yellow buttons.
Here I am before heading out on stage.
Many of the crew members remember me from appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman, so I took photos with many of them.
And here I am with Stephen Colbert.
This is where guests wait just before going out on stage.
The segment started with a brief interview at his desk. If you missed it, click on the link above to see the entire segment. (Photo by Scott Kowalchyk/CBS)
We then walked to the demo table where we had lots of fun creating floral arrangements and talking about my latest and 90th book, “Martha’s Flowers” – I hope you have your copy. (Photo by Scott Kowalchyk/CBS)
