As you know, Halloween is among my favorite occasions, and when my schedule allows, I always love to decorate the front entrance to my farm in preparation for all the children that go trick or treating on All Hallows' Eve. I also try to attend several Halloween parties, and dress up in fun, interesting and oftentimes scary costumes. Unfortunately, this year my calendar is very busy - I’ve been traveling, doing magazine shoots and interviews, and attending many business meetings and dinners. This Halloween, I decided to share some of the wonderful costumes I’ve worn over the last several years - for events, television specials and for our magazine. I hope you enjoy them.
Have a spooky, enjoyable and very safe Halloween.
This is “Bad Martha” – part of a special 2007 holiday issue featuring 150 “bad things” such as ghoulish get-ups, scary pumpkins, and spooky party ideas. My “Glampire” cape was made from black silk woven with metallic threads. (Photo by Craig Cutler)
And here is “Good Martha”, with 150 “good things”, such as enchanting costumes, easy decorations, and tasty treats. (Photo by Craig Cutler)
This is a scene from the 2008 fourth annual Halloween celebration on “The Martha Stewart Show” in 2008. Blake Lively dressed as a beautiful Cleopatra and I as a frightful Medusa.
Here, Jimmy Fallon and I enjoyed slurping Eggs of Newt together for season 5 of “The Martha Stewart Show”! I am dressed as a “Wild Thing” in honor of the book, “Where the Wild Things Are” by Maurice Sendak.
Here, I’m dressed as a Spell Binding Sorceress for the cover of “The Best of Martha Stewart: Halloween Handbook”. The instructions for my costume and makeup can be found on my web site. (Photo by Andrew Eccles) goo.gl/fccX5H
Here I am as “Motha” from our 2011 Halloween special issue – with my platinum-blonde bob wig, and flirty feathered lashes.

You know who I am here – Marilyn Monroe.
And if you watch my show, “Martha and Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party”, you likely recognize this from last week’s episode where I dressed as a zombie. My TV show airs on Mondays at 10/9c on VH1.
And this was my most recent costume – one of Roy Lichtenstein’s iconic “comic book women” – read about it in my column, “From Martha” in the October issue of “Living”. I wore a platinum-blond wig and outlined a plain white shirt with black stripes, and used red half-gloves. It was so much fun! Happy Halloween!
