On Tuesday evening, I had the great pleasure of attending the Vanity Fair party to celebrate the opening of the ninth Tribeca Film Festival held at The State Supreme Courthouse in lower Manhattan. It was a star-studded event and I had a really great time. The Tribeca Film Festival was founded in 2002 by Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal, and Craig Hatkoff in a response to the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center and the consequent loss of vitality in the TriBeCa neighborhood in Manhattan. This festival celebrates New York City as a major filmmaking center and contributes to the recovery of lower Manhattan. The 2010 festival, which runs through May 2nd, is set to include film screenings, concerts, special events, panel discussions, celebrity-studded parties, and a family street fair. Please enjoy my photos from the celebration, which I took with my trusty Canon G11.
Approaching Foley Square in lower Manhattan – there is much rebuilding taking place.
This is the Thurgood Marshall U.S. Courthouse at 40 Centre Street.
Although this is a beautiful building, I have no fond memories of being here. Instead, it is a reminder of the 21 unpleasant days I experienced during my infamous trial.
The Vanity Fair Celebration took place, next door, at the State Supreme Courthouse at 60 Centre Street.
The paparazzi were gathered at the entrance.
The man on the right in the brown jacket happened to see me as I passed by in my car.
He alerted the other paparazzi and heads turned, but I got their picture before they got mine! The man in the blue is Patrick McMullan – celebrity photographer and contributing editor at Vanity Fair.

All the others clicking away – this woman in the brown jacket said ‘hi’ to me and told me her name is Kim.
More paparazzi, many of whom covered my trial
The cherry blossoms are beautiful in Manhattan and the trees are leafing out nicely.
That’s the host of the evening, Graydon Carter – editor of Vanity Fair. He was there with his wife, Anna Scott Carter.
Kim now has her camera out and is clicking away.
Bye, Kim

This is Patrick Demarchelier – famous fashion photographer – he shot my first photo back in my modeling days.
The stairs leading into the party were decorated with many, many silver balls and votive candles.

Here I am with my friend, Barry Levinson – screenwriter, film director, actor, and producer. The woman with the dark hair standing behind him is Wendi Murdoch, wife of Rupert Murdoch.
