A Spring Tour at the New York Botanical Garden
One of my favorite places to visit is the New York Botanical Garden, especially during spring, when so many of the Garden’s gorgeous trees and collections are in bloom.
Last week, before attending the NYBG’s annual Antique Garden Furniture Fair and Collectors’ Plant Sale, I toured a portion of the 250-acre Bronx, New York site with Brian Sullivan, the Vice President for Landscape, Gardens, and Outdoor Collections. We drove through some of the stunning collections of daffodils, azaleas, and peonies. We also saw gorgeous flowering trees and verdant landscapes filled with lush specimen plants.
If you are ever in the New York City area, I encourage you to visit this botanical garden and national historic landmark - you will love it. Enjoy these photos. Tomorrow, I will share pictures from the antiques fair and plant sale, so stay tuned.
