Arranging Tulips on Facebook
Hosting Facebook chats is so much fun, especially when my guests are the young children who visited our offices for “Take Your Daughters and Sons to Work Day”.
I hope you caught my special LIVE Facebook show on tulips, earlier this week. We broadcasted the show from one of our studio kitchens at the historic New York City Starrett-Lehigh building. I had a great time sharing my tips and tricks for cutting and arranging flowers, and answering all the wonderful questions from you, and from the children who joined me on set.
The kids learned how to select their tulips, how to cut them properly to fit a specific container, and how to preserve their blooms at home. It was a wonderful addition to the activities of the day.
