An Unexpected Snow Storm
The calendar says spring, but the recent weekend of snow reminds us how unpredictable Mother Nature can be.
Last weekend here in the Northeast, we had two days of stormy weather - it felt more like February than the beginning of April. The outdoor grounds crew had already finished unwrapping all the boxwood and top-dressing all the garden beds. We were well into our set-up for the spring growing season - and then icy snow and blowing winds surprised us all.
On one of the mornings, I ventured out to assess the condition of the farm and to take some pictures - thankfully, this storm was not damaging, and the snow was gone within hours. Enjoy my photos.
