A Day of Appearances in New York City
It was a busy day of appearances around New York City.
This week, I attended a wonderful event honoring the iconic designer, Manolo Blahnik. The Couture Council of The Museum at FIT presented Manolo with its 2015 Artistry of Fashion award. The annual awards benefit luncheon was at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center. Hundreds of fashion experts, celebrities, clients, and media attended, including Ralph Rucci, Alec Baldwin and Uma Thurman. If my schedule allows, I always try to join - it’s a wonderful event.
Later that same day, I went to Tavern on the Green, where another large crowd gathered to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Jessica Simpson’s brand collection.
And, that night, I visited the Bravo studios in downtown Manhattan for an appearance on the “Watch What Happens LIVE” show hosted by Andy Cohen - a late-night interactive talk broadcast featuring guests from the world of entertainment, politics and pop culture. Andy and I have worked together several times before, and his interviews are always so much fun.
