Transplanting Roses at the Farm
It’s transplanting time for the roses!
If you’re thinking of moving any of your rose plants, early spring is the best time, when the plants are just coming out of winter dormancy.
This week, I transplanted a few climbing rose bushes from one side of the new flower garden to the center, where they could grow and flourish on four tower trellises. These rose bushes are just several of the many I transplanted from my home in East Hampton two years ago.
All the rose plants survived that move and are thriving - I can’t wait to see them all in full bloom.
