First Colors of Spring
After a long, and relentless winter, the first blooms of spring are finally starting to emerge at the farm. This week, as temperatures rose to the high 40s here in the Northeast, snowdrops and daffodils began pushing their way through the soil.
The outdoor grounds crew is now busily pruning trees, clearing old leaves, and top-dressing garden beds with compost.
It won’t be long before bursts of spring color cover every border, orchard and allee.
In the meantime, here are some photos showing the early spring activity - enjoy.
