"Martha Stewart's Organizing: The Manual for Bringing Order to Your Life, Home & Routines"
It's always so much fun appearing on television shows, where I can share information, and teach something new to those in the audience and to those watching at home.
In recent weeks, I’ve been out promoting my latest book, “Martha Stewart’s Organizing: The Manual for Bringing Order to Your Life, Home & Routines.” I am so proud of this book. It is the ultimate guide for sorting, purging, tidying, and simplifying, and has hundreds of smart solutions and inspirations for organizing so many things. During an appearance on The Today Show, I shared tips with Hoda Kotb, Savannah Guthrie, Craig Melvin, and Carson Daly for organizing the laundry room, the hall closet, and the home office. I also shared pantry organizing tips with Dr. Mehmet Oz on his show. This book is for anyone looking to get a handle on it all. I hope you have a copy of my book - it’s available at bookstores and online right now.
Enjoy these photos.
If you missed yesterday’s blog, here is the cover of my latest book, “Martha Stewart’s Organizing.” It is chock full of images and ideas for getting one’s life in order, month by month, room by room. (Photo by Lennart Weibull)

I offer ideas for saving time while baking, especially when making cookies for all your guests at Easter brunch. Working in an assembly line process always helps speed up the process. (Photo by Marcus Nilsson)
The book provides ideas for entertaining, such as what pantry staples to keep on hand, so you’re ready for last-minute gatherings. (Photo by Alpha Smoot)
Another entertaining idea is to create a large sandwich board, so guests can build their own sandwiches using fresh and delicious ingredients. (Photo by Ryan Liebe)

In the book, I’ve included some “Martha Must” tips, such as how to ease the dirty work of potting plants indoors to avoid any mess. (Photo by Kate Mathis)
The kitchen is often the home’s main hub. In “Organizing,” I share my favorite tips for making sure those rushed morning routines run as smoothly as possible. (Photo by Nicole Franzen)
And in the bedroom, I suggest ways to keep the nightstand free of clutter to maintain a sense of calm before bedtime. (Photo by Kate Mathis)
I love using trays to contain desk accessories and technology equipment. Not only do they look handsome sitting on a desk, but they make these items more portable and tidy. (Photo by Kana Okada)

Here I am with Hota Kotb and Savannah Guthrie just before our segment began. Did you catch it?
I shared ideas for the laundry room, and how to outfit it with a portable and easy-to-make ironing surface to keep on top of the front load washer and dryer.
This laundry area is now more useful and more organized.
Then I showed how to make a decorative one-stop memo board to keep notes, a calendar, and keys, so there is no rush to find things.
A home office can be set-up in a corner, in a closet, or any space where a small desk will fit. In my book, I explain how to evaluate a space, so you can determine where the best spot is in your home.
And I explain how to strategize storage space and how to make the most of every inch.
While I was on with Dr. Oz, I talked about storing foods such as nuts and flour. (Photo courtesy of The Dr. Oz Show)
Here we are storing nuts in airtight containers. I also provide a helpful pantry storage guide in my book with shelf-life duration times and storage how-to solutions. (Photo courtesy of The Dr. Oz Show)
