It’s always so exciting to see photos of our staff’s Thanksgiving Day celebrations.
Every year before Thanksgiving, I send out an email to all our employees, extending my very best wishes for a safe and lovely holiday. I also urge them to take photos of their table settings, their feasts, their families and their friends, so I can share the pictures and the many stories that accompany them.
Many of you often comment on how much you look forward to seeing our annual Thanksgiving gallery. Here it is. Enjoy.
Lauren Seely from our Marquee Brands Group team enjoyed her holiday with family in Cameron Park, California.
Here is Lauren’s plate – all the food served was so delicious.
This holiday photo shows executive assistant, Cathryn Delarosa, her husband Hector, and their son Ethan on Thanksgiving Day.
At Cathryn’s celebration, guests started with small bites from this charcuterie board made by Cathryn’s brother, Kenneth.
Here’s the turkey made by Cathryn’s husband, Hector. The potatoes are still cooking in the background.
In this photo: Cathryn and her siblings – Kenneth, Ashley, Pat and Cathryn’s son, Ethan.
There were many gorgeous pies for dessert – all made my Cathryn’s sister, Ashley. This one is an apple pie decorated with Christmas trees cut into the top crust.
This is a pumpkin Nutella pie with a gorgeous swirl design.
And this is a chocolate pecan pie – also made my Ashley.
Cathryn captured this snapshot of “the sweetest nap before dinner with my brother, Pat, and my son, Ethan.”
And here is the entire family just before the meal – Cathryn, Hector, Grandma Willisch, Ashley, Kenneth, Colleen, Tito, Ethan, Ken, Pat, and Mery.
My executive administrative manager, Dorian Arrich (second from the right), enjoyed the holiday weekend with her family – Jennifer Dixon, Tyler Dixon, Thomas Gibbs, Kyle Dixon, Dylan Dixon, Lois Pennington, and Craig Dixon.
Dorian says “this is Craig’s famous gobbler sandwich made from all the delicious leftovers.”
Designer, Claire Basile, submitted this photo from her Thanksgiving. This is her aunt’s table in Bronxville, New York, where she decorated with some of my Martha Stewart flameless beehive candles from QVC.
Marquee senior art director, Benjamin Bloom, wanted to share this photo of “my daughter’s very first Thanksgiving – Bella Bloom. She turned three weeks old on Thanksgiving Day and was the center of attention at our family’s meal.”
Associate Art Director, Rachel Frank, enjoyed a second-holiday dinner at her parents’ house on the day after Thanksgiving. Rachel says, “my Nana always hosts on Thanksgiving, but Mom and Dad, Jean and Andy, practice making the meal on the next day for when Nana is ready to hand over hosting responsibilities to the next generation.”
Rachel’s recently adopted kitten, Oliver, celebrates his first Thanksgiving by dressing up in his autumn bowtie. He also enjoyed some turkey cat food for dinner.
Marquee brand manager, Sabrina Blaustein, celebrated Thanksgiving at her boyfriend’s parents’ home in Katonah, New York. The hosts, Gina Reid and Chris Maxmin, gathered together at this beautifully set table dressed with autumnal decor, speckled with warm-colored accents and fresh blooms Gina arranged earlier in the day.
This is Brandy, who welcomed everyone to Thanksgiving dinner.
Seasonal cocktails were served in crystal monogrammed glasses that belonged to Gina’s great grandfather dating back to the late 1890s. Gina is the fourth generation to celebrate with this set of crystal, making this a tradition that’s near and dear to her heart.
SVP of Marketing, Stella Cicarone, shared this photo of the “turkey my sister, Roxanne Pisa, and brother-in-law, Marc Pisa, made at their home in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey – it was so delicious.”
Marquee senior art director, Robert Romero, submitted this photo of his dog Charlie staring at all the tasty leftovers.
Graphic designer, Mario Silva, shows his Thanksgiving table. “We cooked a turkey, lasagna, mashed potatoes, and salad – everything from scratch. I was with my boyfriend, Naqi, and our friend Pedro, at our apartment in Astoria, Queens, New York.”
Special projects producer, Judy Morris, and her family enjoyed Thanksgiving at her brother’s home, not far from my Bedford, New York farm. John Morris was very proud of his turkey cooked on the grill – it looks just perfect.
Here’s the turkey fresh off the grill and ready to serve.
And this is from Cheryl Dulong, who works up at Skylands. She celebrated the holiday a couple weeks earlier with her son, Torrey Grant, and his girlfriend, Michaela Sattaur – they hosted a “Friendsgiving” in Syracuse.
My housekeeper, Enma Sandoval, celebrated this Thanksgiving in a new home. Here’s her holiday table.
Here is one of the filled plates with all the traditional turkey fixings, and more.
There was also cornbread and banana bread for all to enjoy.
Every Thanksgiving, I make pies for everyone who works for me at my farm. My stable manager, Sarah Levins, enjoyed this one – a cranberry tart in a nut crust. https://www.themarthablog.com/2019/11/making-thanksgiving-pies-at-my-farm.html
Dolma Sherpa, also from my stable team, chose this lovely Chocolate-Bourbon-Pecan pie.
And here’s a photo from Rebecca Szymczak, fashion and trend director for Marquee. It’s her dog, Lola, in her special Thanksgiving turkey outfit. All these photos are beautiful – I am so happy to see everyone enjoyed the special day! I hope all of you did also. You’ll see my holiday weekend photos very soon.
