Thanksgiving is just nine days away - are you ready for your family’s big feast?
If you’re hosting this year’s holiday dinner, and are still scrambling to get everything prepared, don’t worry you still have time to order everything you need to make your Thanksgiving meal perfect. This year, I am so excited to partner with Williams Sonoma on a special Thanksgiving dinner. Our complete dinner for eight includes a fresh free-range Willie Bird turkey, five side dishes and apple cranberry crisp for dessert. We include heating instructions and my favorite roasted turkey recipe - just order by Friday, November 22nd, by clicking anywhere on the highlighted link. You can also choose side recipes from Martha & Marley Spoon and the fresh ingredients will be delivered straight to your door. And, don’t forget the wines to pair with your meal - go to Martha Stewart Wine Co., and order a Thanksgiving Half-Case of some of my favorite selections. To make your holiday table complete, shop for pieces from my Harvest Collection at Macy’s - it includes pumpkin figural items, barware, decor, and serve ware. It’s the big countdown to Thanksgiving, and I’m here to help.

Preparing for the holidays takes careful planning, especially if you’re hosting the year’s most important meal. Start by thinking of your table setting and menu, and make that “to-do” list. Remember, you can always go to the Martha Stewart TV app to stream full episodes right on your phone. You can see all your favorite cooking and decorating TV segments I’ve shared with you over the years.
My new Thanksgiving Dinner from Williams Sonoma includes some of my favorite dishes. It includes a Willie Bird Fresh Free-Range Turkey, my Mushroom, Leek, and Herb Stuffing, Classic Cranberry Sauce, Celery Root, and Yukon Gold Potato Puree, Cauliflower Custard, Sweet Potato Puree with Browned Butter Maple Syrup, and a delicious Apple Cranberry Crisp.
The turkey from Williams Sonoma comes chilled and ready to cook – my recipe for the perfect roasted turkey is also included. It’s that easy.
If you are entertaining this holiday season, be sure to have all the necessary tools and gadgets on-hand. My Harvest Kitchen Collection from Macy’s includes lots of autumn-themed baking, measuring and serving tools, and dish towels.
If you need cookware or want to get ahead on your holiday gift list, these great pots are from my Martha Stewart Cookware Collection, also available at Macy’s.
One tip is to lay out all your platters and plates a day or two ahead of Thanksgiving, so you know exactly what you have and what you may still need. This task is easy to get out of the way before the Thanksgiving morning rush.
These plates can also be used after the holidays, to serve all those delicious leftovers… if there are any.
For the dining table, dress up your fall place settings with this set of four pumpkin napkin rings from my Harvest Collection. Each one has a gold-tone finish.
The pumpkin soup terrine from Macy’s can be used for soup or cider – all your guests will love the decorative pumpkin shape.
Or, use it for your centerpiece. The soft white glazing complements most dinnerware styles and patterns.
This year, Martha Stewart Wine Co. is offering Half-Case options for your holiday needs.
Another tip – the perfect temperature for white and rosé wines is 45 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit; any cooler and the wines’ flavors begin to dull. If you don’t have a wine fridge to regulate temperature, go to my “Countdown to Thanksgiving” story on the web site and find out what our Martha Stewart Wine Co. team says about chilling wines so they’re perfect.
If your guests are staying over, refresh the bedroom and bathroom for the holiday season with products from my Macy’s Collection.
And don’t forget my blend of flavorful coffees to serve with dessert.
There’s still time to get everything together for this year’s Thanksgiving feast – enjoy.
