This week, to promote my latest publication, Barneys New York hosted a very special book signing, cocktail party, and dinner. The event also celebrated the launch of my new “designer burger,” available at all Freds locations - the iconic restaurant led by executive chef, Mark Strausman. More than 130 friends, colleagues, clients, and customers were in attendance. I had such a wonderful time signing books and talking with the guests. We served wine from Martha Stewart Wine Co., and a themed cocktail inspired by the book. It was a very successful and enjoyable gathering.
Here are some photos.

Many bought multiple copies. It is such a nice collection of summertime recipes, and a great gift for anyone who loves to grill – Father’s Day will be here before you know it. (Photo by Neil Rasmus, BFA)

I always try to personalize the books I sign and talk to those in line – it is so nice to hear how my publications have inspired people over the years. (Photo by Neil Rasmus, BFA)

My friend and entrepreneur, Jean Pigozzi, was also there. These events are a great way for me to catch up with friends I don’t get to see as often as I would like – we all have such busy schedules. (Photo by Neil Rasmus, BFA)
After the book signing, we enjoyed a private dinner also hosted by Barneys. (Photo by Neil Rasmus, BFA)
Dinner started with a caprese salad with Italian buffalo mozzarella, farm grown basil, Freds olive oil and tomatoes. (Photo by Neil Rasmus, BFA)
And here is my new designer burger – now available at all Freds locations. The burger features organic turkey meatloaf seasoned with red-pepper relish, minced garlic, and finely chopped onions on a lightly toasted potato bun. (Photo by Neil Rasmus, BFA)
The burger comes with more of my sweet potato fries tossed with rosemary and Bardolay Pinot Noir from Martha Stewart Wine Co. These burgers were served on custom Barneys and Martha Stewart boards on top of trays showing aerial views of my farm.
There was also a pan-seared salmon topped with Tuscan tomato salad served over sauteed spinach and roasted potatoes. (Photo by Neil Rasmus, BFA)

It was a great event, and a wonderful way to celebrate my latest book, “Martha Stewart’s Grilling: 125+ Recipes for Gatherings Large and Small”. I know you’ll love it too! (Photo by Neil Rasmus, BFA)
