A Gourmet Foods Hour on QVC
I’m so thrilled and so proud of my collections on QVC! Please tune in again today, Tuesday, April 9th starting at 4pm ET for a full hour featuring great items from my Garden line!
Yesterday, QVC host Alberti Popaj and I showcased a delicious selection of my gourmet foods, including my Savory Quiches, my Spiral Sliced Ham, my Salmon Fillet with Brown Sugar Mustard Butter, and everyone’s favorite side dishes - Mashed Potatoes, Creamed Spinach, and Macaroni & Cheese. I shared my first cookie on QVC - a delectable Lemon Butter Cookie. And, I featured four offerings from Martha Stewart Wine Co. Everything you’ll need for a delicious Easter luncheon. Our special broadcast was done in front of a studio audience. It was great to see such an enthusiastic crowd.
Plan your next spring entertaining party with products from my Gourmet Foods Collection on QVC - your friends and family will love every bite. Enjoy these photos.
- Here I am with QVC host, Alberti Popaj. We had so much fun sharing all my new gourmet food items during this show. I am wearing my new Hooded Pullover Sweater. I love this sweater. It comes in flag red, navy and white – it combines the comfort of a classic knit and the convenience of an attached hood for chilly evenings.
- And for this hour, we also had a LIVE studio audience.
- Among the day’s offerings, my quiches – each shipment includes three 10.5-ounce quiches – a choice of Spinach and Cheddar or Caramelized Leek with Gruyere Cheese.
- My quiches are easy to heat-and-eat. We make it as easy as possible to serve up a savory meal at breakfast, brunch, or beyond.
- And here is the Spinach and Cheddar Quiche. An outstanding quiche relies on a creamy egg custard, a buttery homemade crust, and flavorful cheese and vegetables – both quiches are excellent.
- My next offering was my first cookie ever to be sold on QVC – my Lemon Butter Cookies. Everyone in the audience got a sampling.
- I love these Lemon Butter Cookies – they travel so well and they are made with only flour, butter, confectioner’s sugar, lemon, and vanilla.
- These cookies come in a box of 33 – serve them at Easter on a big platter for all to enjoy after their meal.
- These dense shortbread cookies can also be packaged and given as a hostess gift or as a favor for all your guests to take home – everyone will love them.
- They’re also a great addition to any Easter basket. These cookies will just melt in your mouth.
- Everyone in the audience devoured the cookies right away. This gentleman said they were simply amazing.
- Also featured in the hour – my Spiral Sliced Ham. This is one of my favorites. It’s a seven to eight-pound bone-in ham. We also send you recipe cards for the glaze – a cognac and brown sugar glaze and an apricot grainy mustard and apple cider vinegar glaze.
- This is my Atlantic Salmon Fillet. This year, we offer three-pounds of salmon cut into two 1.5 pound pieces so you can serve both for a big gathering, or just half for a smaller group. I love this option.
- The salmon comes with a mustard brown sugar butter glaze that adds just the right amount of flavor.
- The salmon comes frozen and vacuumed sealed within two days of shipping, and can easily thaw overnight.
- The salmon can be served and enjoyed in so many different ways. It is so tender, flaky and utterly delicious.
- This is QVC host, Rachel Boesing. She coordinated the audience participation during the broadcast.
- Another highlight – my three sides. These three favorites combine recipes developed by both me and my mother, “Big Martha”. One of them is this Macaroni & Cheese made with four different types of cheese.
- This is my mom’s popular mashed potatoes made with potatoes, heavy cream, butter, and cream cheese.
- And this is my mom’s recipe for creamed spinach with my topping. I added the Panko breadcrumbs. It’s so fresh and so flavorful.
- On another table, I showed some of my other spring items – my faux chocolate rabbits and flameless candles – together with yellow daffodils, everything looks so beautiful on the holiday table.
- You can plan your entire Easter celebration with items from my collections. These flameless candles come in a variety of gorgeous colors.
- I also showed four wines. I taste every single wine that we include at Martha Stewart Wine Co. These are some of my personal favorites.
- I invited Rachel down from the audience to join us in our wine tasting – she came running.
- Among them, a Fair Oaks Cabernet Sauvignon, a Sierra Trails Zinfandel, a Bayshore Pinot Grigio, and a Stone & Glass Chardonnay. You can order these wines in one of three options – three bottles of one varietal, 12-bottles of all red or all white, or 12-assorted bottles.
- It was a fun hour on QVC. I am excited to share more spring items with you today from my Garden Collection, so be sure to tune in from 4pm to 5pm ET!
