In the new year, we'll also be expanding our offerings to include additional floral varieties - you will absolutely love this service. Enjoy these photos.
This great subscription program was inspired by my own love for flowers and for roses. I’ve been growing roses for many years – I love their many varieties and growing habits. And I am thrilled to partner with BloomsyBox – a premiere farm-to-table floral subscription company. (Photo by Fadil Berisha)
Here are just some of the many rose colors and varieties available. They include ‘Escimo’, ‘Ocean Song’, ‘Vania’, ‘Lemonade’, ‘Lola’ and ‘Quicksand’.
We use sources from Rainforest Alliance Certified. In order to become certified, flower farms must meet criteria of the Rainforest Alliance Sustainable Agriculture Standard for social, economic, and environmental excellence.
This means no toxic chemicals are involved in the fertilization of these flowers.
The way the subscription line works is easy – each month, a bouquet of roses, selected by myself, and sourced from sustainable farms, will arrive fresh to your door within five-days from order.
The bouquet will arrive carefully hand tied and wrapped in a specially designed “BloomsyBox”. And inside, along with the flowers, will be a booklet containing my care instructions, plant food, and tips with an informational card regarding the specific bloom. (Photo by Andrew Ingalls)
Kevin Sharkey and his entire team worked very hard on this program. Here is Kevin styling a bouquet of roses for a recent photo shoot at our New York City headquarters.

You can order them month-to-month for three-months, six-months, or one-year. And remember, they can be ordered as a gift for someone on your holiday list, or as a delivery to yourself. (Photo by Andrew Ingalls)
Everyone at our studio loves working with these gorgeous blooms. When BloomsyBox ships, they hand-pick and cut the stems two to four days before you receive them, so you get them at their best.
Here’s Kevin arranging another colorful bouquet for a dining table.
We ordered every variety of rose possible to test its bloom time – these flowers lasted weeks. It was hard to pass the table without stopping to admire the many flowers.

Our roses are great all year long. This lilac colored bouquet can decorate a space any time of year. (Photo by Andrew Ingalls)
This summer, I used many of the roses in bouquets at Skylands, my home in Maine.
They can be arranged in so many different ways with so many other types of flowers.
I love this combination of cream and pink roses – they look so stunning with their dark green foliage.
And, if you remember, we also featured our BloomsyBox roses at our recent event at New York City’s Baccarat to promote the special deluxe hardcover edition of my book, “Martha’s Flowers: A Practical Guide to Growing, Gathering, and Enjoying”. (Photo by Benjamin Lozovsky for BFA)
