“Pressure Cooker” starts with a beginner-friendly section of pressure-cooked beans, stocks, and vegetables. It has a chapter on hearty main courses made from start to finish. And it also has a section dedicated to desserts cooked entirely in the pot. In addition, this book is filled with stunning photographs and countless hints and tips. This week, while in Pennsylvania for my QVC appearances, I also conducted a book signing at Terrain, a garden center and eatery in nearby Glen Mills. The entire event sold out of its 225-tickets. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting the customers, and seeing how eager they were to try the recipes in this wonderful book.
Here are some photos - enjoy.
In my new book, “Pressure Cooker,” you’ll find 124-recipes for healthy, quick and flavorful dishes. If you don’t already have a copy, buy one today – it’s available at bookstores and online at Amazon.com. I know you’ll love every recipe. goo.gl/dWYUhK
The book signing was held at Terrain’s flagship store. Terrain offers an assortment of seasonal plants and items for the home and garden. It also has indoor-outdoor nurseries, a cafe and a garden terrace for events and workshops.
There was ample signage around the venue directing guests once they arrived.
Copies of my book were stacked on a table near the entrance for people to pick up. Each ticket holder received one copy of “Pressure Cooker”. It was a very cold day, but it was so nice to see such an enthusiastic crowd waiting to enter Terrain.
Inside, guests were greeted by lots of poinsettias, holiday lights and tables filled with decorations.
Here are the stanchions set-up for the book signing line. It was a very well-organized event.

My book signing was held in Terrain’s “greenhouse” – this long table was decorated with beautiful and fragrant evergreens and votive candles.

Visitors were so excited to page through the book. Here are two very happy book owners standing in line to have their copies signed.

Two wines from the Martha Stewart Wine Co. were served along with other themed drinks including Spiked Apple Cider, Cranberry Paloma, and Cranberry Manhattan.
The two wines we selected included Sierra Trails Zinfandel 2016, and Spencer Sauvignon Blanc California 2017. The bartender could not fill the glasses fast enough – everyone loved them. Be sure to order from Martha Stewart Wine Co., for your next party. https://marthastewartwine.com/
Many guests came in groups – everyone had such a wonderful time talking about the book and all the recipes they wanted to try.
There was also a spritzer and coffee station.
As guests waited in queue, they were served a selection of appetizers featuring recipes from the book. The small bites included Black Bean, Cucumber and Feta Salad, Preserved Lemon and White Bean Spread, a variety of pureed soups, Alabama-style Pulled Pork, and Espresso Crème Brulee.

The line moved efficiently and quickly – I had a lot of people to meet and greet.
Here are two more happy customers. I love meeting all these guests and talking to them about my books and products – it allows me to get first hand feedback.
In all, I signed more than 225-books – that’s a lot of books, but I am certainly accustomed to it, and I always enjoy these book signing events. If you’re shopping for holiday gifts this weekend, be sure to pick up a copy of “Pressure Cooker”.
