This week, to celebrate and to promote my 90th book, Kevin Sharkey and I conducted a very special book signing at the Kohler Experience Center in New York City - an interactive showroom featuring more than 20 kitchen and bath vignettes, and samples of the company’s vast product line. We filled the space with lots of colorful spring floral arrangements - all inspired by the book. More than 85-friends, colleagues, editors, and interior designers were in attendance. We also served a selection of wines from Martha Stewart Wine Co., and Chef Pierre Schaedelin from PS Tailored Events prepared an array of flavorful hors d’oeuvres.
Here are some photos - enjoy.
The event was a collaboration between our own Martha Stewart Living and the teams at Kohler and the Kohler Experience Center. The KEC was a beautiful venue for this event. (Photo by Sean Sime)

Everyone who attended loved posing with our flower arrangements and then posting photos on their own social media platforms. (Photo by Sean Sime)
Before the book signing, Kevin and I welcomed the audience and talked about how we created the book and how long it took to plan and compose every chapter, so it came out perfectly. The book is organized by season and tells a lot of what has happened in my own gardens over the years. Along with Kevin’s stunning arrangements that are shown throughout, this book appeals to all flower lovers and gardeners. (Photo by Sean Sime)
