Be sure to tune in Monday, November 20th at 4pm ET when I share more from my Fashion Collection on QVC! This collection is so popular - you don't want to miss it!
Earlier this week, I flew back down to West Chester, Pennsylvania, home of the QVC headquarters and studios, to talk about three great holiday gift ideas - my Heavy Duty Garden Bag complete with three essential tools, my 50s and beyond skin care kit developed with Mario Badescu, and my eight-pound Rolled Hampshire Porchetta. All my products are doing so well - we’ve gotten such a wonderful response on everything we’ve released.
It’s only a few more days until Thanksgiving, and the start of the holiday season, so be sure to shop all my new collections for great gift ideas on the QVC web site - just click on the highlighted link and enjoy these photos. I’ll talk to you on Monday, November 20th, during my next appearance on QVC!
Here I am with QVC host, Carolyn Gracie. We’re showing my new Heavy Duty Garden Bag with three tools – perfect for the gardeners on your list. I love this bag – it has nice long handles, so it can be carried over the shoulder around the yard.
We set up a table to demonstrate some of the tools that come in the bag – the hori hori, a crevice weeder and a switchblade saw.
If you recall, when I launched my Garden Collection, I sold out of this hori hori very quickly. Now, it’s included in this great Garden Bag gift set.
Hori hori means “dig, dig” in Japanese. Here I am demonstrating how the tool helps with planting those spring-blooming bulbs. Have you planted all of yours?
This hefty bag comes with three amazing tools, but is big enough to fit all the tools you need for a day of gardening.
Carolyn is also an avid gardener and loves how portable and durable the bag is – it’s made of thick, heavy duty canvas.
The bag has six-inch exterior pockets and 11-inch interior pockets, a shoulder strap, and stretch cord fasteners to hold the tools in place. And, this entire bag measures approximately 11-1/2 inches by 11-inches by eight-inches.
I also shared more of my Beauty Collection – my 50s and beyond skin care kit I developed with Mario Badescu.
This kit contains all the wonderful and useful products to care for your skin in your 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s etc. This collection is designed to leave you with a more vibrant and youthful-looking complexion.
Here is a behind the scenes look at one of the crew members checking one of the cameras on set.
The camera equipment is complete with small monitors, so each operator has a detailed view of what he or she is shooting during the segment.
More monitors are located throughout the studio for producers to view. This one shows the graphics on the left side which indicate the details of the items being sold. Here I am talking about the importance of cleansing and moisturizing the skin at any age.
The kit is designed to lift, tone, and smooth the appearance of dry fine lines and wrinkles. It helps comfort and nourish the skin, while supporting its elasticity. These products include powerful peptides and other skin-loving ingredients. It contains an orange cleansing soap, an alpha grapefruit cleansing lotion, a peptide-infused eye cream, a renewal cream and serum, and a super collagen mask.
We did a short demo to show how wonderful the products are in this kit. I’ve been using Mario Badescu’s products for years – many of the products in these kits are my personal favorites.
Off set, I ran into actress Catherine Zeta-Jones. She was also there for a QVC appearance.
And later in the evening, I shared a delicious eight-pound rolled Hampshire porchetta.
This flavorful porchetta is pork loin infused with rosemary, sage, garlic, fennel, lemon zest, salt, and pepper; rolled in pork belly before being sliced.
It is so juicy and crispy. It’s a great addition to the holiday table!
And look who it is – actress Valerie Bertinelli. She was at QVC sharing her own collections, but stopped by our set to say hello and to try the porchetta. She ordered one for her family right away.
And here I am with QVC host, David Venable at the end of our segment. I’ll see you again Monday with more pieces from my new Fashion Collection. Be sure to follow my social channels for time updates – Twitter @MarthaStewart and Instagram @MarthaStewart48.
