A Book Signing at Terrain in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania
My latest book, “Martha Stewart’s Newlywed Kitchen: Recipes for Weeknight Dinners & Easy, Casual Gatherings” is an indispensable manual for any couple looking for help in the kitchen. It includes 100-recipes, 125-stunning photographs and countless hints and tips for setting-up a kitchen, learning to cook with and for each other, and sharing food and drinks with friends and family. It also helps couples learn how to choose cookware, tableware, barware, and so much more. If you already purchased a copy - let me know what you think. I always love hearing from you and reading your comments!
Today is also Veterans Day, a day set aside to honor the service and sacrifice of all those who have served in the United States Armed Forces - the very brave men and women of the Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps and Navy. Thank you to all our American veterans who have served this country.
It was a very cold day, but it was so nice to see such an enthusiastic crowd waiting to enter Terrain. (Photo by Katie Hennessey)
The event was held in Terrain’s “green house” – the entire space was wonderfully decorated for the holidays. (Photo by Katie Hennessey)

We also served a cocktail – an Elderflower Spritzer with Frozen Grapes – another big hit. (Photo by Katie Hennessey)
Everyone was so patient and already lined up by the time I entered the store.
Whenever I sign any book, I always bring my own supply of pens – color coordinated to the book I am promoting. Small details are very important to me. (Photo by Katie Hennessey)
This guest was already perusing the pages for recipes. As guests got closer to my signing table, they were given a sticky-note, so they could write the name of the person receiving the book – I always try to personalize the books I sign. (Photo by Katie Hennessey)
This visitor’s name is also Martha and she brought the 17th issue of my “Living” magazine with her for me to sign. I was thrilled to speak with her. (Photo by Katie Hennessey)
Everyone loved the small bites made from recipes in “Slow Cooker”. This is Winter Squash with Shallots and Dates. goo.gl/kAeWDy
And, this is our “Slow Cooker” Chicken Curry.
These are Beef and Pork Meatballs also from my “Slow Cooker” book. These went so quickly – they’re perfect on a cold autumn day.
Dessert bites included Sticky Toffee Pudding, a cake-like pudding with a wonderful, deep flavor – perfect with a dollop of rich toffee sauce.
Here is another happy customer waiting to get her book signed. I love meeting all these guests and talking to them about my books and products – it allows me to get first hand feedback. (Photo by Katie Hennessey)
I signed more than 200-books – that’s a lot of books, but I am certainly accustomed to it, and I always enjoy these book signing events. (Photo by Katie Hennessey)
