Here I am with my head gardener, Ryan McCallister, on our first day launching my new Garden Collection on QVC. We’re holding one of my favorite hand tools – Easy Grip Secateurs.
These Martha Stewart Easy Grip Secateurs with Protective Sheath are a must-have in the garden. They are easy to use for all those pruning tasks. It has a durable chrome-plated blade and includes a handy holster for carrying around the yard.
Here is my special projects producer, Judy Morris, watching the monitor as I talk to QVC host, Carolyn Gracie, about these wonderful secateurs. They also make a great holiday gift.
I am showing how the secateurs work for trimming and pruning. These secateurs, and all my garden tools, come in four great colors – sand, mint, black, and of course, slate gray.
I also love the Martha Stewart Stainless Steel Hori Hori Knife with Sheath. Every gardener should have one of these in their bag. It slices through weeds and branches. It has a precision-crafted, concave stainless steel blade with digging marks to help guide you. And, it fits in this handy and protective sheath.
Here, I am showing host, Carolyn Gracie, how to use my Martha Stewart Electric Trimmer & Edger with SharperBlade & Rotating Head. This is such a great tool. Its Twist-n-Groom 180-degree rotating head quickly converts from trimming to edging – it’s like two tools in one. It includes three SharperBlade replacements, a
4.5-amp motor, a
telescopic shaft, and
flower safety guards
to protect plantings and fence posts.
I love doing work around the garden. Everything looks so neat and tidy when properly edged. This edger makes clean lines, and is so easy to maneuver around tight beds.
You’ll love my Martha Stewart 100-foot Kink Free Lightweight All-Purpose Garden Hose. This hose also comes in four great colors – black, mint, sand and slate.
And look how light it is! My hose weighs only five and a quarter pounds – for a 100-foot hose.
This traditional 100-foot hose weighs 15-pounds – a big difference when having to water an entire garden on a warm day.
These hoses are so easy to connect, especially with the four quick connectors.
These quick connectors fit right onto the spigot and onto the hose with a quick click – no more leaking at the joints.
This is my Martha Stewart Pressure Select 1450/2030 PSI Electric Pressure Washer. I love this electric pressure washer. It eradicates dirt and debris from the house exterior, between the patio pavers, and even mud and dirt on the car. An intense jet, paired with the detergent used in the on-board tank, blasts away grime to help preserve all that you want to clean.
The pressure washer also has five different tips such as this one, which allow you to change the strength of the spray. The tips connect easily and fit conveniently on the back of the pressure washer for storage.
Here is the crew during our show. The long-armed jib has a camera at the end for capturing our how-to demos from above.
Here is the Martha Stewart 6-amp Electric Lightweight Compact Multi-Purpose Blower. Blowers are so useful around the garden and home for clearing leaves and debris.
Here is the slate colored leaf blower. This garden tool is ideal for porches, patios, walkways, decks, and garages. It is so easy to use. It has a 6-amp motor and comes with a 10-foot electrical cord.
Here I am blowing some of the leaves off of this walkway – look how lightweight it is – it is so easy to use with just one hand.
And here I am blowing leaves and debris off of the patio furniture. This blower is strong enough to get into tight spots, but also gentle enough not to damage the wicker on this chair.
This is the Martha Stewart 10″ Multi-Angle Electric Pole Chain Saw. This telescoping electric chain saw can easily prune, trim, and manicure hard-to-reach trees and shrubs. It includes a
7-amp motor,
multi-angle head, and a
safety switch.
QVC host, Rick Domeier, watches as I trim away the branches on this makeshift tree. It is so easy to use – and only weighs seven-pounds.
On this day, we did both a morning show and a night show. Rick Domeier hosted the evening broadcast. Here we are showing the pressure washer again – items were selling quickly all day.
Here I am with Rick at the end of the show. What a fun day at QVC. What items did you purchase from my Garden Collection? You can still buy them on the QVC web site. http://www.qvc.com/martha-stewart/_/N-1z140z9/c.html
