Attending the 25th Anniversary Gala at LongHouse Reserve
If you are near East Hampton, New York this summer, I encourage you to visit the magical LongHouse Reserve, a not-for-profit art museum, sculpture garden, and art education organization founded by Jack Lenor Larsen, the internationally known textile designer, collector and author, whose works are displayed in museum collections around the world.
Last weekend, I attended the 25th annual summer Gala at LongHouse to present the LongHouse Art Leadership Award to Molly Chappellet and Luanne Wells. Molly is the co-founder of the world-class Chappellet Vineyard and Winery in Napa, California. Her sister, Luanne Wells, is the President of the Wells Family Charitable Foundation and serves as a trustee of the California Institute of the Arts. Over the years, both have contributed so much to education and the arts, the environment, and to humanity.
More than 400-guests attended the event to honor Molly and Luanne, pay tribute to founder Jack Lenor Larsen, and to celebrate the future of LongHouse. It was a spectacular evening - enjoy these photos.
