Stopping by the Googleplex
Last week, I traveled to California, where I spent a very busy few days. In addition to taping a segment of On Air with Ryan Seacrest, making another really fun appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, attending book signings to promote my new book, Martha's Entertaining, A Year of Celebrations, giving cooking demonstrations with Everyday Food’s Sarah Carey, attending wonderful parties, being interviewed by several media groups, I also met up with Marissa Mayer, Google’s Vice President of Local, Maps, and Location Services. You may recall when I interviewed Marissa for my television show last December, discussing her illustrious career at Google, which placed her on Fortune’s “Most Powerful Women” list in 2008, when she was just 36-years-old! I was thrilled to be invited to the Googleplex, where I had the nicest chat with Marissa, followed by a Q&A with questions from the nearly 500 Google employees in attendance. I was also given a fascinating tour of the Google campus, making for quite a memorable experience. Here are some photos taken at Google.
