A Delicious Breakfast and Shopping at The Home Depot
On yesterday’s blog, I shared photos with you about arriving at Skylands and how we spent the evening. Saturday was scheduled as a workday in the garden and a container-planting day on the terrace. After rising, my guests and I were treated to a wholesome breakfast made by Pierre. I was sure to have packed plenty of farm-fresh eggs from my chickens at Bedford. I don’t know what it is, but food always tastes so good at Skylands! Following breakfast, we drove to nearby Ellsworth to purchase some plants at The Home Depot before the hard work began.
