This past Tuesday evening I, once again, attended the annual TIME 100 Gala held at New York City’s Lincoln Center. Now in its eighth year, this gala celebrates the 100 men and women who, through their ideas and their actions, are changing the world. Using the categories of Leaders, Artists, Thinkers, and Heroes, the editors at TIME start listing individuals who have had a big year in the news. They consider those whose ideas have sparked dialogue, or dissent, or even revolution. Once again, I was invited back as an alumna, having been a recipient of this great honor in 2005. This is always such an exciting gala to attend and such an honor to be in the company of such distinguished individuals. To see full list of the TIME 100 for 2011 click here.
