If you read Francesca and Sharkey’s blog, The Daily Wag, you may recall that they were cast to star in their very own webisodes. A webisode is something that is only seen on the internet. As you know, Francesca and Sharkey have come to love the limelight. However, blogging and regular appearances on my television show apparently are not enough for their egos. While I was away on my travels through Turkey, those little starlets arranged for an entire video crew to come to Bedford and work on the final scenes of the webisodes. From what I am told, those Frenchies were directing the director. We all hope that when production is complete, these webisodes will go viral. I’ll let you know when and where you can view these little gems.
Can you guess who is the sponsor of the webisodes?
Another scene took place in the blog studio. The studio was also used as a makeshift war room and the producers had their story boards tacked to the forbo wall.
Of course Francesca and Sharkey are into crafting!
A closer look at one of the story boards. F & S must have studied each one.
The crew was ready for the talent. Uncle Carlos – animal handler extraordinaire – delivered Sharkey and Francesca to the outdoor location.
The crew was set up under the pergola framing the shot.
The camera guy seemed happy with how the dogs looked in the monitor.
The Frenchies seemed to know exactly what the director wanted from them. They were very cooperative.
Carlos waited for the cue to place the dogs in position.
Lee Heffernan, from MSLO advertising, with her blond hair, thought that she could be a stand in for me, but……
The girls didn’t buy it!
The next scene was shot in my recently planted Japanese maple grove. Even though there were squirrels in practically every tree, F & S, as true professionals, kept their focus on the job.
She sat so still while the camera rolled. It even looks like she’s smiling.
The blog studio is a grand space.
Uncle Carlos coaching Sharkey
When Sharkey was told to look serious, she did just that.
The next episode required wardrobe.
Apparently, Sharkey thought this was a better angle.
Francesca enjoyed this scene more than Sharkey.
Hair and makeup!
Some of my new line of PetSmart products were used as props. This is a great food bowl that even has a removable lid.
Metro-Frenchie
The art director wanted to use this painting, sent to F & S by an avid fan.
The last scene of the day featured a surprise cameo.
Vivaldi, the cat, has become as much of a ham as Francesca and Sharkey.
