A gathering to celebrate the release of 'Nine' with Daniel Day-Lewis, Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson and more
On Monday, I attended an elegant luncheon at Per Se,Thomas Keller's extraordinary restaurant located in the Time Warner Center in New York City. The reason for the gathering was to celebrate the release of 'Nine,' the vibrant and provocative musical, directed by Rob Marshall, which has been nominated for five Golden Globe Awards! The movie boasts several stars, including Daniel Day-Lewis, Penélope Cruz, Nicole Kidman, and Kate Hudson. This adaptation of the Broadway musical follows the complicated life of world famous film director Guido Contini and the numerous women he is involved with. This star-studded luncheon was called for 1PM, but the cocktails ran so long that lunch was not served until two. Regretfully, I had to skip most of it to get back to a meeting.

The decor at Per Se is crisp, elegant, and simple.
A course of pasta and vegetables – like all food at Per Se, a perfect marriage of flavors, color, and texture.
