Repotting Begonias in My Greenhouse
There are thousands of species and varieties of begonias. Some are classified as tuberous, and others as fibrous, but it’s the rhizomatous begonias that make stunning houseplants all year long because of the amazing colors, shapes, sizes, and textures of their foliage.
During the winter months, the plants flower, but they are mostly prized for their extravagant greenery. Rhizomatous begonias are remarkably pest resistant, and thrive in warm temperatures, and bright, indirect sunlight. Plus, because the rhizomes store up moisture, these plants need minimal watering.
This week, my gardener, Wilmer, repotted all my begonias, and they look stunning all freshened up in their new pots. Enjoy the photos.
