The Wine and Food Festival of New Paltz
Wine and food festivals are an excellent way to gather experts, vendors, and consumers, so they could meet and exchange ideas and experiences.
Just before leaving for a week-long business trip to Europe, I participated in the second annual Wine & Food Festival of New Paltz. It was held at the historic Mohonk Mountain House resort hotel located just beyond the southern border of the Catskill Mountains in New York’s Hudson Valley. The three-day event was presented by International Wine Masters and featured tastings, cuisine pairings, cooking demonstrations and seminars with various experts, such as Sarah Moulton, Kevin Zraly, and baker, Rose Levy Beranbaum. While there, I did a book signing for my newest releases, “One Pot” and “Clean Slate”, and sat for an interview and discussion to share my thoughts on various foods, wines and other culinary topics. I also had the opportunity to stroll the grounds of the landmark Victorian and learn more about its history and design.
