Outdoor Spring Clean-Up
Temperatures in the Northeast are in the 60s, which means it’s warm enough to start doing some outdoor gardening chores, and that’s good news for everyone at the farm, especially after this long, harsh winter.
But, there’s also a lot to do for the spring clean-up, and the outdoor grounds crew is busy with many projects including cleaning the garden beds, pruning the berry bushes, and raking all the dead grass and leaves.
Even the chickens and geese are helping - they gained access to the vegetable garden, so they could graze and fertilize the soil.
It’s a strong spring start… to a refreshing season ahead.
