I recently returned from an exciting trip to Los Angeles, where I made several appearances. First on the agenda was attending the Adobe MAX Conference, where I introduced Martha Stewart Living’s very first issue of our magazine in digital format for the iPad. We have been working closely with Adobe on its development and it has been a really exciting project. Look for it in the very near future. I hope you enjoy this blog of my time in Los Angeles. It was action packed!
At 9:30am, when the Adobe MAX was about to begin, I posed with a couple of makeup artists just before going on stage.
The Nokia Theater was packed.
Kevin Lynch – You can see me on the screen above his head taking this photo.
These fellows, who are Adobe workers, were going around the audience putting live feed on the big screen.

At 12:30pm, after the Adobe MAX lunch, we left for the NBC Studios and drove past the Walt Disney Concert hall, home of the LA Philharmonic.
Sheathed in stainless steel, the hall covers more than four acres and houses four performance arenas.
This extraordinary venue is both a visual and acoustical triumph.
Designed by Frank Gehry, it is one of the most acoustically sophisticated concert halls in the world.
